Qualified as a Hill and Moorland Leader

My abilities to run trips into more remote areas was bolstered by my successful completion of Mountain Training UK Hill and Moorland Leader award during three days of assessment in the Ochils and Pentlands.

I will be completing an Expedition Skills module in May and will be having another attempt at my Mountain Leader (Summer) .

This now means I have a clearer remit and insurance for leading individuals and groups in the hills of Britain and Ireland to complement my 20+ years of experience as a field course staff member.

I am a palaeobiologist in my early 40's carrying out research work. I am based in Scotland.
