Here is a view of Craig bothy in 1996. You can see the red triangle marking this as a SYHA hostel, as it was at this point in time. The hostel closed in 2003 and was taken on by the Mountain Bothies Association in 2006. Geezer and Canadian Mike are taking their ease in the sunshine. You can see the decoration of the lintels of the building that had been done by a former warden of whom there were many tales.
Team 06 was repairing the path out to this bothy from Upper Diabeg and, in the latter stages of the job we were living in the hostel, rather than in Upper Diabeg.
Out of shot is a boulder when there used to be a bit of bouldering of an evening. For me it was in bare feet, as I had no rock shoes at this point.
